A Simpler View of the Church

In this world of complexity, we need to re-discover the essence of what it means to be the church. I'd like to offer a suggestion-a new attempt at definition, if you will.

Snowed In for a Sabbath

On those unique days when snowstorms overwhelm the city and life comes to a halt, the unplanned respite from work and regular ritual does something powerful for your soul and your relationships. A sabbath should be just like that.

“God Demolished Me”

We habitually erect superstructures that put us in control and make us feel safe. However, this man-made life stands as an obstacle to the life of intimacy and dependency for which God created us.
